The middle blocker Gianluca Galassi, the opposite hitter Alessandro Bovolenta, the setter Paolo Porro and the middle blocker Francesco Comparoni, the latter new acquisitions of Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza, are among the 17 called up by the Technical Commissioner Ferdinando De Giorgi for the third training camp of the Italian men’s national team that will be held in Cavalese, in the province of Trento, until Friday 13 June.
In the next few days the fourteen athletes selected by the Italian coach for the first week of the Volleyball Nations League will be announced, scheduled from 11 to 15 June in Quebec City, Canada where the Azzurri will face Bulgaria, Germany, France and Argentina.
In the second stage the Azzurri will be busy in the United States, in Chicago (25-30 June) to face Poland, China, Brazil and the United States.
In the third week of play, scheduled in Slovenia, in Ljubljana (16-20 July), the men’s national team will take to the field against: Serbia, Ukraine, Slovenia, and the Netherlands.
The Final Eight will be held in Ningbo, China, from July 30 to August 3.
