He’s just 23 and a half years old, but he moves like a veteran. At 20, in the season that saw the second playoff final in Serie B, Nico Cipriani was the team’s starting opposite hitter, already having gained experience in the same category with Città di Castello. Coach Marco Bartolini brought him with him to San Giustino in the summer of 2021, and this is his fourth season overall in the white and blue, having returned to Serie B with Tomei Livorno in the 2023-24 season. “Cipri” is familiar with the Serie A3 Credem Banca, and ErmGroup Altotevere has decided to keep him, as they did with Cappelletti, Quarta, Biffi, Marzolla, and Pochini. “This confirmation means a lot to me,” says the striker from Città di Castello, “because it shows that I’ve worked hard and that the club has placed a lot of faith in me. Not only that, it’s given me another chance to demonstrate something that perhaps hasn’t fully emerged yet, and therefore to fully express my potential.”
