Porto Robur Costa 2030 is pleased to announce the reappointment of five players to the first team roster for their fifth consecutive Serie A2 championship: libero Riccardo Goi, setter Antonino Russo, opposite hitter Hristiyan Dimitrov, second setter Luca Iurlaro, and second libero Andrea Asoli.
Goi, who will turn 34 in August, will be playing his 12th year with the Ravenna club, his sixth consecutive, for a total of 303 appearances, making him a firm fixture on the team.
Antonino Russo, meanwhile, is entering his fourth year with the club. The 22-year-old from Vico Equense will once again be responsible for leading the team’s play, adding value with his service points: in 97 appearances so far, he has scored 112 aces, 50 of which in the recently concluded championship, which earned him a third-place finish.
Dimitrov, Iurlaro, and Asoli are in their second season. The Bulgarian opposite hitter made a significant impact in his first year in Romagna, which also coincided with his debut in Serie A2, finishing as the team’s top scorer in a sprint finish with Zlatanov: 398 points, which earned him eighth place in the rankings, with 320 winners, eleventh overall, and 57 blocks. Including the two Coppa Italia matches and three playoff matches, Dimitrov’s tally rises to 469 points, with a season-high 30 points scored in the Fano match in the 12th round of the second leg.
For Iurlaro and Asoli, who had the opportunity to celebrate their Serie A2 debut, it will be an important season to increase their experience and add another important piece to their growth.
