Fabio, part of the press defines you as man of the year! You who make work a religion, how do you live the status of cover man?
“2022 has given me great joys, both in sport and in personal life. I achieved the goals I set for myself. I don’t feel like an icon and the feeling that pushes me to give my all in the gym, to prepare for matches with a lot of energy, to transmit grit to my teammates hasn’t been affected in the slightest by the successes. Indeed, I always try to do my best to be ready and provide the greatest possible support to Lube Volley”.
Is there any stain in 2022 that has just ended?
“With the national team I didn’t really like the epilogue of the VNL because such a beautiful path would have deserved a better epilogue, while with the Lube the recent elimination in the Italian Cup against Milan burns. We wanted to win at home to reach the Final Four and hit the ninth in a row.”
