Salento d’amare Taviano: Salento d’amare Taviano has officially started its new adventure for next season. After yesterday welcome organized by president Donato Bruno, today first trainning session. Nine athletes will be at Masciarelli’s disposal: De Giorgi, Belardi, Liefke, Tomassetti, Lorenzi, Passero, De Pandis, Crisostomo, and Zanette. Trevisan will arrive this Thursday while capitain Ereu will arrive at the end of the month.
Coach Masciarelli said: “I think that we have enogh time to organized a very well done preparation. We have a good and solid group. Now we have to work hard on our team game. It is one of the most important step that we have to do. Our goal for the season is to at least reach the play off. But I also think that last year results (Italy Cup and play off semifinal) are history. We need to look at the future with serenity and will of work. This is a challange for me and I hope we will win it.
Also the friendly matches program has been decided: on the 2nd and 3rd of September the team will play the Locorotondo tournament together with Castellana, Modugno and Bari. On the 9th of September another match against Modugno in Galatina. On the 16th of September friendly match at the William Ingrosso against Bari. On the 13th and on the 20th of September Taviano will play against two local Serie B1 teams.
