After the home victories with Modena and Montichiari, Radostin Stoytchev’s team wants to prove itself at PalaTrento too.

Trento, 9th of October 2007

Tomorrow night the 4th round of the Serie A1 TIM 2007/08 is on.
Itas Diatec Trentino, after 2 consecutive home victories against Modena and Montichiari in visiting RPA-LuigiBacchi.it, looking for its first away points in the championship. Starts at 20.30.

ITAS DIATEC TRENTINO SPEAKING Coach Stoytchev suggests not to get so exited about the team’s latest victories but to concentrate on the hard work ahead to be able to get far in the championship: “We are playing better and better, we showed it especially at tie break in the last match when we did really well. I liked the team’s tactics; they followed ny instructions perfectly. Anyway we need to improve still especially digging’s positions and attacking”.
No time to think about the previous match though, it is Perugia tomorrow.
“It is an exptremely important match – he adds – so it needs to be prepared in its details which is not possible while we play a match every 3 days. We will try and concentrate on our game rather than our opponent’s.
The previous victories created great expectations but we need to prove them one match at the time. Tomorrow we have to grab our first away points this season”.

THE OPPONENTS
RPA-LuigiBacchi.it will certainly be very determined to repeat its success in front of their supporters at PalaEvangelisti.
After their first home victory they lost two consecutive away matches in Rome and Treviso. They had two important players leaving in summer Martin Lebl and Sebastian Swiderski. Giacomo Santini landed in Perugia though which was the top deal of the summer followed by the arrivals of Richard Nemec and Robert Kromm.
Damiano Pippi e Goran Vujevic will be Dall’Olio’s strenght in the back.
Perugia has so far been one of the best diggers and blockers so Itas Diatec Trentino needs to serve well and be unpredictable in attack..

HISTORY 14 matches played between the teams, 7 victories each.
