TIM ALL STAR VOLLEY 2007
THIS MORNING THE PRESENTATION IN FORLI’

This morning, in Forli Town Hall, the TIM All Star Volley 2007 press conference took place, event organised by the Men’s Serie A Volleyball
League in partnership with the City of Forli, Forli-Cesena FIPAV provincial committee, Emilia Romagna FIPAV regional committee, AICS and Mare&Volley Forlì.

On sunday at 17.00, the champions will go on court to give birth to two exiting matches. In the first one Andrea Anastasi’s Italy will meet Harman Kardon All Star A2; following the Azzurri will challenge JBL All Star A1.

Attending the press conference, representatives of local institutions including the City of Forli councillor, Giovanni Bucci, who said:
“I have to publicly thank the Serie A Volleyball League who showed once again their interest in our territory and all the people who, thanks to their passion, support volleyball on all levels.
Once again we are able to organise an even that enhances our city’s positive image promoting sports activities. This is a confidence we have achieved in time, through the organisation of other sucessful events like Volley Land, which helped the spread of volleyball amongst the young people”.

Giancarlo Beoni, president of FIPAV provincial committee also talked about the partnership between the League and local institutions:
“The enthusiasm we had when organising Volley Land in 2005 and 2006 allowed us to answer with passion to the Volleyball League proposal to host this edition of the TIM All Star Volley.
For that reason, the committee’s aim is to fill PalaFiera with young people to create the ideal enviroment to welcome the Italian National team and the best players of the championship”.

The national team is also present in Paolo MAzzoni’s words, the vice president of the Emilia Romagna regional FIPAV committee: “It is with great pleasure the committee accepted the League’s proposal to host this event in Forli. It is a special occasion also because it will be Andrea Anastasi’s Italy’s christening”.

Then it was Massimo Righi’s turn to speak, Serie A Volleyball League MD: “It is a pleasure to be back in Forli almost every year. I would like to thank Pres. Bucci for his daily work on the local territory to promote our sport. I would like to stress that the new National team has brought a breath of fresh air to the whole movement, a partnership open to dialogue, which has not happend for a while.
That does not mean having an easy life, but such a climate sets the basis for a long and intense partnership. This atypical formula chosen for this edition of the TIM All Star Volley, with two matches, is based on fun and enteirtainment only. We wish the even will turn into a party for everyone, both for teh audience and the players”.

Closing the conference, two players from Mare&Volley Forli taking part in the event: Sebastian Creus Larry and Marco Loglisci. Their comment was unanimous: “We are happy to be able to take part in this edition of the TIM All Star Volley. It will be emotional to play in a palasport full of people and enthusiasm”.
