Itas Diatec Trentino is meeting Prisma Taranto on sunday at 20.30 for the 9th round of the regular season.
The team wants to get back to it straight away and keep the third place in the standings and staying unbeaten at home.
Interrupted the series of 6 consecutive victories with the 3-0 defeat against Macerata, Trentino Volley will try and go back to victory. The team has only been training all together again since yesterday with Grbic, Jeronic and Della Lunga’s full recovery from a series of injuries.
“This first match is a bit of an incognito – says coach Stoytchev – difficult to say at what kind of level we will be able play given we were not able to prepare anything. I know we will find serving and digging more difficult.
Grbic experience will help us facing difficulties though and also practice on the high ball. We have not even been able to play any friendly matches either that is why I am fearful of this first match really. We will have to use our game in zone 3 where we worked on during the break”
“Taranto is a team that has global characteristics and also individual ones; they are precise at blocking, with three very tall players so very efficient there, on the top of Vissotto, a top level attacking element”.

HISTORY: 8 matches played between the team, 5 to Taranto and 3 to Trento.
