Bassano had never had that much trouble to come away with the win before this season like on Wednesday against Città del Castello. Everything had started according to plan with an early 2 set to nil lead but Città del Castello reacted and forced a tie-break. Bassano still managed to remain undefeated but if it had sealed the deal earlier it could have taken advantage of the point lost by Bologna to become sole leader. As it is, the two teams remain tied on points on top of the table.
