Savani: “This Roma could do anything”

A day off for the team really busy in the past few weeks.
The victory over Macerata in the 1st match of the playoffs quarterfinals has given birth to this idea which has been highly appreciated by the athelets.
Tomorrow, though, they are back on court thinking about the away match against an angry Lube, eager to go through to the next match.
Despite the difficulties to win the first and second set, last wednesday the audience has come back to admire the team they used to see at the beginning ofthe season, the one who went to first place and lost it after a negative series of matches lost after the Italian Cup in Milan.
The truth is that Serniotti, compared to those days, has been able to recover Mastrangelo and Savani other than reintroduce Marshall in great shape and an excellent Hernandez, whose time seems to have stopped.
“Surely, our come back to victory is due to that. Personally -Savani explains – after the therapy and the treatment, I have asked to go back to training even before I should have to be part of the group again. Of course, I cannot be 100% yet but match after match my condition is growing and my knee problems are miracolously disappearing.
Against Corilgliano I have suffered a little, against Macerata things have been better”.
Conforted about his recovery and the convincing performance against Macerata, Savani sees the rest of the playoffs with optimism:
“This Roma is strange and can do anything. Our injuries have been penalised us completely, but now that we are back in good shape, we could really become the stars of the end of the championship. Who says this Roma could do anything is right”.
