Latina and Gioia will meet again in a final, but this time this is for a place in the A1.
Gioia del Colle had no intentions to stick around for long and give Roma some hopes. It sealed this deciding game in straight sets and will take part in the first A2 final of its history.
In Schio, where Bassano had to play because its gym was not available, the game had many twists and turns Guarise and co did very well to forget about the severe 3-0 defeat suffered in game 2 and, thanks to an outstanding Ronaldo and a good work at the net, it took the first set. The second set was tight but in the end a more composed Latina team tied the game. The third and fourth set were crazy, with the lead traveling from one side to the other. The key points were scored by Giombini and Rosalba, who scored 31 and 19 points. Bassano was not as good to control its nerves and remain composed, meaning Latina qualified for the final, ready to live to emotions of a promotion again, like they did in 2001.
