Davide Marra will be one of Ansastasi’s two liberos for Italy’s next World League. The Italian coach revealed the list of 19 players taking part in the qualifying tournaments for the European Championships and the World League (4 june – 25 July), and seeing his name amongst the 19 is a great satisfaction for Marra.
“I was hoping he would make it – said Federico Rampazzo – When we first played Vibo this season and I told my friends and to the coaches that Davide would be the libero of the national team, I was not joking”.
