The trip to Slovenia was fundamental for Gela. Dalù’s team played three games, winning two and losing one. On Thursday, Gela faced a team from the area, then the tournament started on Friday with the semi-final lost at the tie-break against Merchiol Vodi. In the game for third place, Martinengo and co bounced back with a 3-1 victory over the hosts of Panvita Galex Ms.
“These have been interessant tests – said a satisfied coach Giandomenico Dalù – I gave court time to everyone and we did fine in all three games, especially mentally”.
