Santa Croce had the better of Città di Castello in this first friendly game of the pre-season. However, still without Rosalba and Ravellino, the host had a fairly good performance, as it kept it tight in the first part of the game.
“I feel like the team is getting better in running the schemes – said coach Andrea Radici – Our opponent had all the players available while we had many youngsters, and the lack of experience made the difference, especially in reception and attack”.
