Forli Volley and Giacomo Sintini found an agreement. The setter born in Lugo in 1979 decided to leave Belgorod to come back to Italy. He made his Serie A debut with coach Molducci at Ravenna in 1998-99, while he became a starter for the first time in the elite with Forli in 2000-01. He also played for Treviso, Macerata and Perugia. He won a league title, two Super Cups, one Cev Cup, a Challenge Cup, and with the national team he won the Mediterranean Games and the European Championships.

“I am happy to be back at Forli – said Sintini – I owe this club a lot and amongst the clubs that wanted me, this is the one that showed most interest”.
