Monza won its first game of the year in Cuneo, which is its second away victory this season (the first was against Taranto on the 25th of October). Urpo Sivula was named MVP as he greatly helped his team to turn things around.
“I am happy to have been able to help the team obtain this important victory – said Sivula who scored 14 points – I’m really thankful to my teammates who helped me to settle in, especially Exiga and Rauwerdink who gave me a hand in reception. Then, I gained confidence and it became easier. I think this was a game in which I could show my qualities, which are attack and serve and I also love to play under pressure”.
