Latina made official the signing of left-handed outside hitter Sasa Starovic. The Serbian international was born in 1988 and played for Ural in Russia last season. Starovic is currently preparing for the World League, in which he will face Italy in group B.
“Macerata owns it since last season already – explained sport director Grande – It bought him because they believe in his ability but they will wait for confirmation of this, which could be witnessed already this season with this experience in our league. We wanted him last season but then they made too high an offer for us to match”.
