The sport awards of the Cultural Association Mens Sana were handed in yesterday. The awards are given to the athletes that best represented the five sport clubs of Alberobello, Castellana, Putignano, Sammichele and Turi. Castellana’s captain, Vito Insalata, received the ‘Pallino D’oro’. The middlblocker, who was champion last season with Piacenza, received this award for the second time after 2003.
