While Libero Lorenzo Smerilli, middle blocker Stefano Patriarca and assistant coach Thomas Drezza went to visit schools of the Verona area, Coach Bruno Bagnoli keeps preparing his team for the coming fixtures, in particular the Volley4Liguria tournament with Belluno and Trentino (November 27).
“In the friendly against Padova, we struggled in attack – said coach Bagnoli – Therefore we could not take advantage of the good work done in reception. In the tournament, we will have to do our best to keep the absence of Kromm and Gasparini unnoticed while we’ll play against top teams. Everyone will have to be at his best to prove we have good alternatives to our starters, a bit like we’ve done against Belluno in the league by winning with Calderan as setter”.
