The finishing line was reached at the tie-break in this opening game of the season. After over two hours of play, President Cicchetti’s team earned its first points against Atripalda. In the fifth set, the hosts got off to a brilliant start (4-1), but Isernia got back within one (5-4). That’s when Torcello and Cardona combined to get Atripalda away again. Never to be caught again.
