European Cups


 


In the Champions League, Trentino and Cuneo, which were already qualified in the previous round, are waiting for the draw, to be made on Friday afternoon in Luxemburg. The venue of the Final Four will be revealed at the same time and therefore the team that will be directly qualified for the semi-finals. Trento is amongst the candidates as it offered Bolzano’s PalaOnda as home court.


Treviso went out of the Champions League with a smile. Thanks to its 3-1 victory over Fenerbahce, it qualified for the Cev Cup Challenge round.


Bitter road game in Turkey for Modena. Winners in the first leg against Ankara, it was knocked out due to a 15-12 Golden set loss.


Macerata marches on in the Challenge Cup. It swept Tev Aviv in Israel. The Italians will meet Surgut, Russia, in the quarter-finals in the first few days of February.
