In the heated atmosphere in Reszow, in front of 4500 fans, Treviso upset the home side 3-2 in the Cev Cup semi-final first leg.

Roberto Piazza (Sisley Treviso): “It was a very complicated affair for us, we needed every bit of everyone’s contribution to come out on top. I am happy with Maruotti’s performance in attack, he’s coming back at the level he was last year. But I’m satisfied with the overall performance of everyone. Now we have to focus on Saturday’s return game in Belluno, where things will certainly not be any easier. I’d like my team to start playing right from the beginning and not from the end of the first set, like we did today”.
