This year again Claudio Nardi will be Città di Castello’s fourth spiker. At 45-years of age, Nardi is very excited and not afraid to measure himself once more at the top level. The eldest player to play in the Serie A was Pierpaolo Martino at 47 years and 8 days.
“I can only feel proud because I think I did well last season – said Nardi – I gave my little contribution to the team. I want to give everything I have once more and maybe even more. I think our squad is even stronger than last season but it is well known that important names are not enough to win games”.
