Perugia keeps working hard to build its roster for the coming season. It brought in middle blocker Daniele Tomassetti. Born in Roma, the 29-year old is an all around player in attack and at the net. Tomassetti spent last season in Gela, it proved to be an unfortunate season for his team but in terms of individual performances, it went very well. He scored a total of 258 points, and finished ninth in the blocker’s chart with 70.
“I chose Perugia because this is an excellent club, which has made and keeps making a lot of sacrifices to stay in professional volleyball. I had a long chat with the president, he made me a great impression and I understood that his aim was to reach the top places of the table”.
