Trentino is in Doha, Qatar, to defend the title won in the last three editions of the World Club Championships. In its opening game, it needed to come back from 2 sets to 1 to eventually win it at the tie-break in which Osmany Juantorena took charge. The Italo-Cuban got Trento level when Al Rayan tried to escape (from 3-5 to 5-5) and then he imposed his talent blocking and attacking at will (10-5). Well-assisted by Uchikov, Juantorena and co would not be pegged back.
