Second consecutive home win for San Giustino, who swept Ravenna. Fenoglio’s team dominated the encounter from the word go and had the better in every department. Too many mistakes for Ravenna while San Giustino was on song, led by Maric (13 points) and Van Den Dries (11).
Marco Fenoglio (coach Altotevere San Giustino): “We played brilliantly and gathered a very important victory. It’s been a tough week, but today I have seen what I wanted. We prepared the game carefully and we got on court ready to play. I am extremely satisfied. We’ve been strong in the dig-block department as well as on the serve”.
Sebastian Larry Creus (CMC Ravenna): “It did not go well today. We have been dominated. San Giustino has played well, while we served poorly. It’s never easy to play in the Palakemon arena and we certainly suffered. Never mind, we’ll just have to try to bounce back”.
