Initially Vlada Pektovic’s back-up, Riley McKibbin managed to make his the starting role in just a few months and coach Sartoretti considers him a potential star.
“This will be a fundamental season for me – said McKibbin – I have worked hard before coming back to Italy, I wanted to be ready for the start of pre-season. I want to do well for me and San Giustino. There isn’t any big names in the roster but we are united and we enjoy ourselves”.
Another important piece of the team is Marco Lo Bianco, still young but a veteran in the group “I am sure Marco will manage to get more court time this season, it’s a fantastic lad, one of those every coach would like to train” said Sartoretti.
