Piacenza strengthened its squad with Slovakian spiker Frantisek Ogurcak. Born in 18984, he played last season with Belluno with Alessandro Fei and he has been in Italy since 2008. He made his debut with Bassano in the A2 before joining Perugia, where he won the Challenge Cup in 2010. The following season, he went back to the A2 with Genova. In his four Italian years, he scored 1198 points, 80 aces and 120 blocks.
