“On the eve of the season, we all thought we’d have a brilliant season and we’d win – said sport director Vitullo – Nobody thinks they’ll lose at the start. We put together an excellent squad but we had 12 new players as well as a new coach and in spite of this I think we had a good season. It’s true though, that we’re a bit disappointed with the last two defeats against Matera and Ortona because it would have been a great result to finish second, behind a team, Città di Castello, that was honestly playing in a world of its own”.
