Second return round. Sora vs Brolo live on Rai Sport
The serie A2 stars this weekend with round 13. It’s been a thrilling season so far as Sora versus Brolo will be live this Sunday. The following weekend, it will be time for the Italian Cup Final Four in the A2 with Padova, Sora, Matera and Monza fighting for the trophy.
Globo Banca Popolare del Frusinate Sora – Elettrosud Brolo. Sora is on a four-game winning streak and will try to stay in the top four ahead of the cup semi- final against the leaders Padova. Brolo will try to begin 2014 with their first victory of the season. They have gathered only two points so far out of two tie-breaks against Milan and Castellana Grotte.
Itely Milano – Sieco Service Ortona. In the fourth consecutive win for Milan, Mattera registered the record of blocks (9) for a setter in a game. Now sixth, they stand two points behind Ortona, which has only lost against teams that stood above them in the table.
Tonazzo Padova – Coserplast Openet Matera. First place at stake. The current leader, Padova, only has a two-point advantage on Matera. Padova registered ten wins in eleven games in the first half of season, their only defeat came against…Matera.
Caffè Aiello Corigliano – B-Chem Potenza Picena. Opposite runs for Corigliano and Potenza. The first had a poor start to the season and then picked it up by taking 8 points from round 6, while Potenza got off to a superb start before fading. They have not won since November 17.
Materdominivolley.it Castellana Grotte – Vero Volley Monza. Rested in the last round, Castellana Grotte will try to start where they had left off, having taken 6 of the 8 points at stake in December. Monza is on the chase of the first place behind Padova and Matera and it will want to gain momentum before the cup semi-final to be played at home against Matera.
