Città di Castello came away from Modena with the victory which sends them above their opponent of the day in the table. Radici’s boys played with great intensity, they collected 11 blocks while Modena could only get 2, and they dominated the attack (58% vs 45%). The dig often made the difference too. We did not have the time to prepare the game, we needed to make it mentally, I had told the guys but the attitude was not good enough and the mental preparation was lacking. After our three last encounters, we needed to play this one like it was a world championship final”.
