Brindisi to host the event on October 14
The Apulia region and the city of Brindisi will be the host of the first major event in the 2014-15 season. In the PalaPentassuglia arena, Cucine Lube Banca Marche Treia (winner of the league title) and Copra Ardelia Piacenza (Italian cup winner) will fight it out for the first trophy, the 19th Super Cup.
Macerata won it three times, in 2006 versus Cuneo, 2008 and 2012 at the expense of Trento. Only one previous participation for Piacenza, it was in 2009 in Frosinone and they won it precisely against Macerata.
