Having completed its roster, Piacenza has now also found the missing member of the coaching staff with Marco Camperi as assistant coach. Born in Calcinate, near Bergamo, he was assistant coach at Crema from 2002 to 2009. After a season in the B1, he moved to Segrate, and then Lugano, where he helped coach Motta win a fantastic treble: Swiss Cup, Super Cup as well as the first league title in the club history.
