Libero Nicola Pesaresi and middle blocker Simone Anzani did not have much time to rest as they just got back from a camp with the Italian national team.
“It went very well, this was a very positive experience – said Pesaresi – Being selected to take part in those camps that coach Berruto is organizing in those four years is definitely a great opportunity for any player involved”.
Anzani then took over “The vast majority of the athletes that gathered in Rome are players and friends that me and Nicola know very well. They have been teammates or opponents. We’re all the same age so we have worked very well as a group”.
