Sora had the better 3-1 but there were encouraging signs for Ortona in an all-Serie A2 friendly game that was played at a very good level from the word go. Ortona lined up setter Lanci, outside hitter Michalovic, Djordjevic and De Paola spikers, middle blockers Simoni and Guidone and Cortina libero.
“Another game we can have a positive look at – said coach Lanci – We have to be more careful at the end of sets and improve our serve. But the team is getting better little by little. Now we’ll have another interesting test on Friday against Molfetta, which will help us to correct further our mistakes”.
