In Tricase, Alessano disposed of the B1 side of Leverano 3-0. Last week, that same team had made it very hard for Cernic and co (2-2) but this time it could do very little although the second set was tight and only clinched 31-29. Less intensity in athletic training meant the players were livelier. Middle blocker Piscopo finished top scorer with 18, while Bolla was rested because of problem on his shoulder. The performances of Jeliazkov and Cernic stood out too but the whole team looked on the up.
