Alessano signs Luca Borgogno

Alessano added to its roster spiker Luca Borgogno. Born in Cuneo in 1993, 198cm tall, he played last at Ortona, where he had excellent numbers in spite of the fact the team had ups and downs. He came up in the youth ranks of his home town before getting the call from the Italian national team pre-juniors and then junior, with which he won the European Championships 2012 as best server of the competition. He played in the B1 division in 2012-13 with Ravenna before making his Serie A debut with Corigliano Calabro, when he obtained his first cap with the national team. His next stop would be Verona in the SuperLega, but he did not have much court time and decided to come back to the A2 with Ortona.
