Friday night’s encounter went to Trento who bounced back from its road loss against Vibo with a 3-1 over Sora. Trento remains unbeaten at home with seven wins in as many games. Giannelli did an excellent job of distributing both in the middle (Solé had 86%) and on high balls (Nelli 59%, Urnaut 52% and Antonov 50%). Sora struggled in the block-dig area. They did not make many mistakes but did not prove very effective as Miskevich was often well controlled by the opposite blocks.

After our defeat against Vibo Valentia, we wanted to take three points and we did it with some good training during the week. Sora proved once again it is an excellent team, they really made it tough for us, especially in the second set, but tonight we controlled the game well ».
Bruno Bagnoli (coach Biosì Indexa Sora): “The boys attacked very well for three sets tonight but in the distance we did not manage to hold off a series of break points. We did not manage to make it hard for them with our serve, neither with our powerful jump serve nor with our tactical floaters. We faded a bit only in the fourth but I think it can happen when you play three games in five days ».
