2005-06 Lega decision on Boxing Day action praised
The packed arenas all over Italy proved once again that the decision taken by the Italian Volleyball League in 2005-06 to set a day packed of league action was the right one. The tradition has been going on for 12 years and this season the 26th of December has registered a record 23.458 total crowd. Not only is this the biggest crowd for 2016-17 but the second best of all time behind… 26 December 2005.
