The whole city is waiting for the second encounter of the SuperLega final to be played in Perugia against Modena on Thursday night. Beaten in Modena last Sunday, Kovac’s men need a breakthrough to level things up in the series.
“In Game 2, we’ll need to be more determined and focused, especially when Modena serves – said Kovac – We know this is one of their main strengths, it will be important to contain them and make it hard for them with our own serve. And then, we’ll obviously need to fight until the very last ball drops. We really believe in our chances, that’s for sure. Game 1 was just the opening encounter of the series. They played brilliantly, we’ll try to do the same at home. I told the boys exactly what I think: that we have our chances and the quality to play face to face with Modena”.
