In its last pre-season friendly, Padova gave it a good fight but Trento prevailed on a 3-0 score. « In spite of the result, this was a good test against a very strong team. We’re a bit disappointed not to have taken at least one set though. We still make too many mistakes, which you pay cash against such team ». This game was the opportunity to see a newcomer, the Croatian international Filip Sestan : « I sent him on so that he could get used to our schemes. He obviously still has to settle in but that was a promising display from him, he will be important for us ».
