Tuscania brougt in Riccardo Pinelli. Born in 1991 in Modena, the excellent setter loves to play in the middle and that makes him particularly unpredictable. He’s described as a perfectionist who spends hours in the gym. Last season, he played for Vibo Valentia, where he scored 71 points, showed an excellent serve (29 aces) and some quality at the net (28 blocks). He made his pro debut with Club Italia in the A2 before moving to Segrate in 2011-12. After a year at Modena as Baranowicz’s back-up, which allowed him to make his debut in the top division, he went to Potenza Picena before signing for Matera in 2014-15 where he became the idol of the fans. Last season, he helped Vibo win the Italian Cup A2 and reach the playoffs final, eventually lost against Sora at the end of an extenuating battle.
