All the italian teams on court next wednesday 1st march for the last game of Champions League Pools. All three italians are qualified for PlayOffs 12, with Perugia already in semifinals as Hosting team of Champions League Final Four in Roma. The only uncertain thing is Pool B first place, with Cucine Lube Civitanova who will face Berlin Recycling Volleys for the spot Number 1 in the Pool.

Friday 3rd march in the morning, in CEV offices in Luxemburg, will take place the draw of PlayOffs 12.

 

Azimut Modena will play at 17 live on Fox Sports at Dvorana Center Stozice in Ljubljana, Slovenia, versus Ach Volley, at the bottom of Pool D standings. Modena won in the home game at the tie break, in the very first game of the Pool, but now Tubertini’s team is sure of first place in standings, while Ach is sure of last place, but they will fight in front of the home fans.

 

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FORMAT

Two preliminary rounds (2nd e 3rd Round) will choose 20 teams for the Pool Round, 5 groups with 4 teams. First and second of each group, together with the best 2 thirds. CEV will choos the Final Four host in these 12 teams, who will be opne of the four teams, and third best tshird will replace the hosting team. Final rounds will be PlayOffs 12, PlayOffs 6 and Final Four.
