Enrico Pilotto, 198 cm middle blocker, will be the reinforcement in the middle of the green-and-white team. From Camposampiero (PD), born in 1998, he grew up in the Treviso youth teams until he jumped to A2 in Castellana in the 2017/2018 season. He stayed in Puglia for 2 seasons before arriving in Lazio in Sabaudia (A3). In the 2020/2021 season he accepts to go down to B, at the Folgore Massa, earning the promotion in A3. He remains at the Folgore also the following season in A3, finishing the championship in ninth place.
Hi Enrico. First of all, how are you and how are you spending your holidays?
“I’m very well thanks. I’m spending my holidays between work and the gym because I want to get as fit as possible. ”
What prompted you to marry the Motta volleyball project?
“I’ve always heard good things about Motta. As my first year in the North, it seemed like the right destination for an excellent volleyball experience. ”
Many friends like you who left Treviso have passed through Motta (Alberini, Gionchetti, Saibene). You will find here Santi e Battista. Have you heard someone to understand which atmosphere awaits you by the Livenza river?
“Obviously I have inquired. I heard from my old teammates and had no doubts about what to do. And here I am. ”
You find the A2 after the experiences you had in Puglia a few seasons ago. What championship do you expect and what are your goals?
“I expect to relive the emotions and pressure of a championship like the A2, which will be really difficult this year. Obviously I will give my best to carve out a place as a starter. I can’t wait to start working. “
