With great joy the Savigliano volley confirms the central 91 class Francesco Ciccio Dutto in his fourth season in blue and white. The last few years always available to the team, passing from a reception to a wall in the center, this year he will be the veteran of the new roster at the disposal of the fresh duo Simeon-Brignone.
On the season that has just ended, Ciccio Dutto says that it was a difficult year but also a bit unfortunate: the category jump paid off, the lack of some more experienced additions and, unfortunately, we ran into some injuries that weighed on the achievement of salvation, not obtained by a whisker.
But we don’t want to think anymore … text already on the 22/23 season, from which everything is expected different: satisfied with the new additions (no spoiler, thanks!), Happy with the confirmation of his friend Andrea Galaverna who has proven to be worth the category, stimulated by the arrival of the new coach with whom I have never worked and esteem for the lifter career. He has a few pebbles from his shoe that he wants to take off and, perhaps, get something more than salvation.
When asked about the highest moment held in volleyball, Ciccio starts with an endless list of successes and fails to choose (Enea all the reasons of the world!): Four Italian championships won with the Cuneo youth teams, call-up to the national team (he will have given advice right to the young Mellano?!?!), playing the European Championships, making his debut in the major categories and above all in the Champions League and last only chronologically (last but not least, as they say …) the victory of Serie B with volleyball Savigliano in a perfect final against Trento.
At the most difficult moment, he wants to overlook a little … Superstitious ??
Certainly, Ciccio superstitious on dreams in the drawer. Still many, according to him some achievable others probably not but he really thinks that to cultivate the passion you have to keep the flame lit by always dreaming high … Do not add more … Dreams are desires and he keeps them tight in who knows what drawer!
