It’s time to take stock for Aurispa Libellula who, after the last championship game with Palmi, finished the regular season in fourth place in the standings. The balance can only be extremely positive, as confirmed by central Marinfranco Agrusti, who spoke to Mondoradio microphones: “Everything changed in the second part of the championship, victory always brings happiness and the desire to commit even more, so we have made great strides forward in the game and also in the results.”

The centre-back returns to analyzing the match Palmi lost in the tiebreak with some recriminations: “We were playing point by point and if you make a wrong referee decision you risk losing the match. Apart from that, we both played well, they have very strong players that I know personally, like Pawel Stabrawa and Giancarlo Rau. We almost managed to bring home the full tally, but then we suffered that referee decision, made a few mistakes too many and that’s it, but now we’re just focusing on the playoffs.”

Agrusti admits that, at one point of the season, he didn’t imagine that the team could reach their current standings: “I didn’t expect that we would reach fourth place, not because we were inferior to the others but because in some moments we were in difficulties due to the many absences, but we were good at getting up and playing well again.”
