Volleyball Bari restarts from Matteo Paoletti’s experience and charisma.
The opposite from the Marches, back from a more than positive season in the red and white jersey (498 points scored between the regular season and the playoffs and a record reached of 5000 points scored in his career between A1, A2 and A3), is ready to take on the role of leader again and the driver in the new roster that will soon be available to coach Paolo Falabella.
For the champion from Loreto, yet another season in Serie A is looming on the horizon (to be precise, the fifteenth between A1, A2 and A3), where he spent most of his long career collecting numerous promotions (six in A2 and one in A3), important personal bests and prestigious awards such as the “Andrej Kuznetsov” Award (won as best scorer in the A2 series at the end of the 2017/2018 competitive season).
Beyond the two-year contract signed last summer, the president Antonio Laforgia and the technical staff did not hesitate for a moment to bet on him also for the Serie A3 Credem Banca 2023/2024 championship.
“I am happy to continue my adventure in red and white and to be able to contribute again to the successes of this club – Paoletti declares -. I really appreciated the efforts made by the management in setting up a team with athletes who make this sport a profession. This choice corporate structure will allow us to work a lot in the gym with training sessions both in the morning and in the afternoon, to spend a lot of time together as a group and to acquire and refine the right team automatisms, essential for making a difference on the pitch – he explains – “I am very motivated and confident. I can’t wait to start this new season. We all have the prerequisites for doing well. I am convinced that, if we all row in the same direction, we will be able to obtain our great satisfactions also in this championship – he concludes “The minimum objective is to reach the playoffs. It is useless to hide ourselves. To reach this goal, constant commitment in training, group cohesion and great determination will be needed, especially in the key moments of the season”.
