The recreational and cultural association “Belluno x Volleyball” was born: a reality that joins Belluno Volleyball with the aim of projecting the company into the future and strengthening a present in the name of ambition. The “sister” of the club led by Sandro Da Rold is presided over by the lawyer Elisabetta Frate: «Together with my travel companions – explained the president – we thought about how to open up to the city and involve the community. And the idea of the association blossomed. Who do we address? For enthusiasts, but also for skeptics, newbies and families. We are ready to offer an offer of colour, sport, enthusiasm and growth».

To join the association, a minimum fee of 1,000 euros is required: at that point, the member – or rather, the “organized supporter”, according to a happy definition by the lawyer Frate – will be entitled to one card, two subscriptions, participation in special events and above all an active role in the panorama of Belluno Volleyball. «The hope is that “Belluno x la volley ball” will become a point of reference in terms of experience, also in terms of social function, collaboration and sharing of sporting values». The slogan is effective: «We were born out of passion, we want to grow to inspire». The website already exists (www.bellunoxlapallavolo.com), in addition to the board of directors, made up of Luca Talamini, Renzo Savasta, Alberto Da Rold, Enrico Zanolli and Paolo Bristot: «We are convinced that the ground is fertile to bring forward a project of this type. It’s up to us to make those who support us feel part of society.”

No doubt, it is a period of profound transformations. Also because, compared to the past, the company changes its name. And logo: «The purpose? Identify whether the team belongs to the city – explains the president of the club Sandro Da Rold – and to the province. And no longer to a single commercial reality: Da Rold Cassol will remain as the main sponsor, at least until someone arrives willing to take over the duties and honors that this position entails».

There are several objectives: «At a competitive level – continues Da Rold – we aim to move up the category in the short term. And in the middle, if possible, in A1. It is also our intention to strengthen the youth sector, making it a center of excellence. And to strengthen the volleyball movement in Valbelluna and in the province, so that young people are sweating and having fun in the gym. Finally, we want all of this to last over time: for another fifty years.
