Tomorrow (Wednesday 11th) we will play to improve. Sunday, for the three points. Belluno Volley is ready to face the last obstacle of its pre-season: in Motta di Livenza (first serve at 4pm), the rhinos will face the hosts led by Milo Zanardo and returning from a couple of seasons in A2.

APPROACH – «In this pre-season – argues the rhinos’ coach, Gian Luca Colussi – we have set ourselves the objective of obtaining improvements in every single outing. And up until now it has always been like this.” After an incomparable weekend, here’s a midweek face-to-face against an equipped team: «We need to play and, consequently, we will approach the test with 100 percent commitment. Motta is a very strong team, playing at their home is complicated. But it will be a very useful race, in which we will try to give our best. Also because it really starts on Sunday.”

PROPENSION TO WORK – Colussi does not hide his satisfaction with the path undertaken so far: «I am happy because the boys have a particular propensity to work. And, what’s more, the evolution has been constant: from a technical, athletic and general point of view. We must improve, however, in terms of continuity. And on countless aspects: we recorded batting and receiving, but there is ample room for growth almost everywhere. Furthermore, the attitude we showed in the last two friendlies must be maintained.”

AMOUNT OF WORK – Now our thoughts turn to Motta, but on Sunday Cus Cagliari arrives at the Spes Arena for the championship opener: «Together with the athletic trainer, Sergio Sartori, we pushed hard, with the aim of being in shape even at the end of the season – concludes Colussi -. So we knew that, in the first few weeks, we would encounter some difficulties from a technical point of view. And even now we present ourselves at the next appointments with an important amount of work. Work that we will now reduce a bit, to be more lively and energetic on Sunday. In any case, I expected to be at this point. And at this moment of the season: close to the debut in A3.”
