Once the curtain has fallen on the first season played in the A3 Credem Banca series championship, at Gruppo Stamplast M2G Green Bari it is already time to take stock. Access to the playoffs achieved in the first experience in the third national series is certainly a prestigious goal, which gives continuity and value to the sports project carried out by the red and white association with passion and enthusiasm.
A few days after the elimination suffered at the hands of Farmitalia Catania in the round of 16 series, we took stock of the season with the president Antonio Laforgia, who spoke to our microphones like this:
“I’m not saddened by the exit from the playoffs – his first words -. We were eliminated by a Farmitalia Catania in a great recovery which, it should be remembered, dominated during the regular season, losing the top of the standings only at the photo finish. For our club, making its debut in the category, access to the playoffs is to be considered an important result. Only a little regret remains for the final placement in the Blue group. control, especially in the first round, and the fluctuating performance in the last two months”.
For the red and white number one, the adventure in A3 represented the overcoming of a further step of growth for his club: “Compared to Serie B, A3 is a completely different category – he confesses -. A difficult, compelling championship and demanding, which absorbs a lot of energy but leads to an important qualitative leap in terms of organization and corporate management. We will certainly treasure the experience acquired this year, to grow and become protagonists in this beautiful reality”.
Thoughts are already racing to next season but it is still too early to talk about goals: “We will certainly try to improve on the result achieved this year – concludes the president Laforgia -. We trust, as always, in the precious support of all our sponsors and all those entrepreneurial realities that want to marry our sporting project. We want to structure ourselves more and more like a company, establish ourselves as a solid and reference reality on the volleyball scene and achieve our goals animated by the strong passion that binds us to this sport”.
